(Spanish) In 1934, Lázaro Cárdenas was elected to the first six-year term of government in post-revolutionary history. From that first six-year term, the political system that prevailed throughout the century was outlined with its main characteristic: the almost absolute power of the president in power. This documentary series approaches the life and regime of ten of the men who governed Mexico under that principle. The biographical keys that marked his childhood and youth appear in it; the economic, industrial, agrarian and educational policies of their governments; his great projects and achievements; its crises, errors and balances (always indebted, by the way, to the democratization of Mexico). Sexenios is an approach to the biography of power in our country, which at the same time offers a broad overview of the Mexican 20th century.
