Pass the Mic spotlights and promotes gender equity and cultural diversity in the advertising and audio industries. But despite the incredible female leadership we’ve showcased, there are many industries still struggling to make a shift toward equality, especially when it comes to executive positions. 

The automotive industry has long been a male dominated field. In 2018, it was reported that of the top 20 motor vehicles and parts companies in the Fortune Global 500, there were only 16 female executives—that’s only 8% of all executives. Not to mention, over half of the top 20 companies lack any female executive leadership altogether.
